Welcome to my blog about my life and the crazy and not so crazy things that happen in my day to day activities, oh yeah and I'll probably talk about treeplanting excessively because frankly, Treeplanting Saved My Life.
I/we (husband and I) are not planting right now although people are... people we know! The fall coastal season has started up and if you were lucky enough to get on, eff'n rights. Coastal work was at an all time low this season due to really crappy weather at the beginning of the season and all the mill closures on the island and the coast. Planting is at an interesting time in it's short tenure and I was lucky enough to pick a seasoned forester's brain while doing a "special mission" (see: mini crew, crappy land/work, decent pay) at the end of this season.
But enough about planting for now...
"Real Life" or the "Real World" (which is anytime that we are not living in the bush...a common plating question is "what do you do in the real world?") is going not terribly as of now. After about a 2 month hiatus (half rest other half unable to find work...I refused to go back to daycare) I will be back to the mindnumbing daily grind starting on Friday... I mean really who starts their first day of work on a Friday?
All this work and treeplanting ties into a bigger picture, hence the title of this post. The coming months should see some interesting things take shape.
I promise more pictures since it's really boring to just read... I love blogs with pictures. Fridays I will be designating as "Flashback Fridays" the day when I post a really old picture of either myself, others or a combination of the two for purely entertainment value.
